Chulaih Ang ID’d as Worker Killed in Port of Long Beach Accident on Mediterranean Way
Long Beach, California (January 19, 2022) – Authorities have identified the worker who died in an industrial accident Saturday afternoon at the Port of Long Beach as Chulaih Ang, 64, of Carson.
The incident was reported in the 300 block of Mediterranean Way at around 3:45 p.m. January 15.
Ang was reportedly struck by an unknown-type vehicle under unclear circumstances near a container terminal at the port.
Worker Killed in Port of Long Beach Accident Identified as Carson Man
Firefighters and medics immediately responded to the scene and determined that Ang was deceased.
The cause of the industrial accident is under investigation.
