Essence Burnes Killed in Car Accident at 19th Avenue and Glendale Avenue in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona (May 15, 2023) – A woman was killed in a car crash that left two other people injured in Phoenix on Sunday morning.
The fatal crash happened at around 6:30 a.m. near 19th and Glendale Avenues, according to a report by Phoenix police.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
20-year-old Essence Burnes was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital where she died.
Burnes’ passenger and the driver of the second car sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
