1 Hurt in Elk Grove Accident on 5 Freeway Near Hood Franklin Road
Sacramento, California (May 27, 2023) – At least one person was hurt following a multi-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in Elk Grove, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened around 1:48 p.m. on May 26 on the 5 Freeway, south of Hood Franklin Road, off-ramp.
Per the dispatch, four vehicles collided, including a Ford F150 Subaru collided, for reasons still under investigation. The Subaru sustained rear-end damage and was towed away from the crash site.
Fire officials and medics responded to aid at least one individual injured in the collision.
Debris was scattered all over the roadway and vehicles moved to the shoulder of the highway following the crash.
