Driver Killed in Burlingame Train Accident at Broadway Grade Crossing
Burlingame, California (August 17, 2021) – A driver died after a Caltrain struck a vehicle in Burlingame Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.
The deadly collision happened at around 4:35 p.m. at the Broadway grade crossing.
Authorities said the northbound train hit the vehicle under unclear circumstances.

The driver of the vehicle was killed in the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
None of the 145 passengers on board the train was injured.
