Destiny Baker Killed in Fresno County Crash on Clovis Avenue near Central Avenue
Fresno County, California (May 17, 2022) – Destiny Baker, 22, of Fresno, was killed in a Saturday morning collision that happened in Fresno County, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened on Clovis Avenue, south of Central Avenue, at around 5:30 a.m. on May 14.
According to the authorities, Baker was driving a Nissan Altima the wrong way on Clovis Avenue when she collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota Rav-4 driven by Ramon Vasquez, 32, of Visalia.

Baker was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities suspect that Baker was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
Vasquez was transported to Clovis Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
Further details on the incident were not immediately released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
