Man Hit and Killed by Car near 51st Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona (May 19, 2023) – A man was hit and killed by a car early Friday morning near an intersection in Phoenix, according to Phoenix police.
The deadly accident occurred a little after 5 a.m. near 51st Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
Phoenix police and firefighters responded to the scene and found a man and a car involved in the accident.
The firefighters pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The woman driving the vehicle cooperated with the police.
At the time of the report, authorities had not yet established what led up to the accident.
51st Avenue was shut down between Buckeye and Lower Buckeye roads during an investigation.
