Man Killed, Woman Injured in Phoenix Crash Involving Pedestrians
Man Dies and Woman Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Crash on 23rd and Northern Avenues

Phoenix, Arizona (February 10, 2023) – One person died, and another was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday in Phoenix, police said.
The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. near 23rd Avenue and Northern Avenue.
According to Phoenix police, a woman was driving her car near the intersection when she crashed into two other vehicles.
The force sent one of the cars off the roadway, hitting a man standing on the sidewalk. The victim died from his injuries.
Another vehicle also went off the street and struck a female pedestrian. The patient was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
It was unclear if the occupants of the vehicles were injured.
Police said one of the drivers fled the scene. The role of the suspect in the crash remained unknown.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
