David Reich Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near Rice Avenue in Oxnard
Oxnard, California (November 8, 2022) – David Reich, 59, of Ventura, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision in Oxnard on Sunday night.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened at around 10:15 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 near the Rice Avenue off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Reich was riding a motorcycle southbound on the highway when he was hit from behind by a 2018 Honda Civic.

Reich was ejected from the motorcycle and was hit by several passing vehicles.
The Ventura man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the Honda, 31-year-old Anthony Pacheco lll, of Oxnard, did not stop at the scene but was later located in Camarillo. He was arrested on suspicion of murder, gross vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.
No additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
