1 Injured After Colton Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Pepper Avenue
Colton, California (February 10, 2023) – One person sustained minor injuries following a fiery car collision on Thursday night in Colton, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 7:51 p.m. on February 9, on 10 Freeway, east of Pepper Avenue.
Per the dispatch, a semi-truck and a white Ford Mustang collided. The Ford was traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash. The Ford was engulfed by fire following the collision.
Emergency crews and medics rushed to the scene to aid one person hurt in the accident. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
The vehicles were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the accident.
The cars were towed away from the accident scene.
