Child Killed in Bakersfield Accident on Adobe Road

Bakersfield, California (May 11, 2023) – A toddler was fatally hit by a vehicle on Wednesday evening in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place shortly before 7 p.m. May 10, on Adobe Road near Highway 223.

A three-year-old child was reportedly hit by a vehicle in the driveway of a home located along Adobe Road.

The child was rushed to Kern Medical Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the incident.
