1 Seriously Injured in Brentwood Crash on Highway 4 near Marsh Creek Road
Contra Costa, California (February 28, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a major injury crash that happened on Tuesday morning in Brentwood.
At around 9:52 a.m., the California Highway Patrol dispatch received reports of a traffic collision on eastbound Highway 4 near Marsh Creek Road.
A white SUV and a second vehicle, possibly a black sedan, were involved in the collision. The impact of the crash sent the SUV off the roadway and into a ditch where it caught fire.
CHP says at least one person was seriously injured in the accident.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
