2 Women Killed in Car Crash on Paradise Valley Road in Bay Terraces
2 Killed, 2 Injured in Bay Terraces Crash on Paradise Valley Rd near Monda Rd
San Diego, California (May 15, 2023) – Two women were killed in a car crash on Sunday morning in the Bay Terraces community of San Diego.
At around 2:25 a.m., San Diego police received reports of a traffic collision on Paradise Valley Road near Monda Road.
A 2000 Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Paradise Valley Road when it made a left turn and struck a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling eastbound on Paradise Valley.
A 25-year-old woman in the front passenger seat of the Honda and a 20-year-old woman in the rear passenger seat were transported to the hospital where they died.
Officials say the 22-year-old female driver of the Honda was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries while another 25-year-old man in the vehicle complained of pain.
The pickup truck driver fled the scene on foot and was yet to be located.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
