2 Sustain Minor Injuries in Bakersfield Car Crash at Niles Street and Lynwood Street

Bakersfield, California (November 26, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized with minor injuries after they were involved in a two-vehicle collision Thursday morning at an intersection in Bakersfield.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 8:43 p.m. at Niles Street and Lynwood Street.
A silver Toyota Corolla and an older model gray Honda sedan collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported two people to Kern Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. One of the victims was identified by CHP as Bermudez Miranda, and the other only as Franco. Families of both victims responded to the crash scene.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
