At Least 1 Hurt in Chula Vista Accident on 5 Freeway near H Street
San Diego, California (May 26, 2023) – According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one person was injured after a traffic collision on Thursday night in Chula Vista.
The accident happened around 7:21 p.m. on May 25 on the 5 Freeway near H Street.
Police confirmed a white Ford Mustang and a silver pickup truck collided for unknown reasons.
Fire officials and medics rushed to the scene to attend to at least one person hurt in the collision. The name of the patient was not immediately released.
The vehicles were blocking the slow lane following the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.
