Chualar, CA: Fatal 2-Car Crash on Highway 101
At Least 1 Killed in Chualar Crash on Highway 101 near Chualar Road
Chualar, California (April 22, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning two-vehicle accident that left at least one person killed in Chualar.
The crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m. on the southbound Highway 101 near Chualar Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a GMC Yukon collided with another vehicle on the highway for undetermined reasons.
As a result of the crash impact, one of the vehicles reportedly struck a guardrail and caught fire. The other vehicle was blocking the roadway.
At least one person sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
