Deadly Collision on Interstate 5 in Valencia
At Least 1 Killed in Valencia Car Crash on Interstate 5 near Highway 126
Valencia, California (November 7, 2022) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle collision that happened early Monday morning in Valencia, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck transpired at about 3:13 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5, just south of Highway 126.
CHP said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, and one of them overturned onto its side. The other car acquired major left-side damage.
The report said the crash left one person dead.
The condition of the other parties involved in the accident remained unknown.
Authorities closed southbound I-5 at Highway 126 and diverted all traffic off the freeway at Highway 126. Westbound Newhall Ranch Road to southbound I-5 was also closed, as well as eastbound Highway 126 to southbound I-5.
