At Least 1 Hurt in Highway 99 Crash in Modesto

Minor Injuries Sustained in Modesto Car Crash on Highway 99 near S 9th Street

Modesto, California (May 10, 2023) – Minor injuries were reported in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday morning in Modesto, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck transpired just after 11 a.m. on northbound Highway 99, just south of 9th Street.

CHP said a black Toyota Tacoma pickup truck collided with another vehicle for an unknown reason. The vehicles were blocking the No. 1 and 2 lanes after the crash.

Responding paramedics said the accident resulted in minor injuries. It was unclear if anyone was hospitalized.

No other details were given, but CHP is investigating.
