4 Airlifted to Hospitals After Apple Valley Crash on Apple Valley Road and Symeron Road
Apple Valley, California (February 13, 2023) – 4 people were airlifted to trauma centers in critical condition after two motorcycles collided with a pickup truck Sunday afternoon in Apple Valley, as per a local news source.
The incident took place at around 5:28 p.m. near Apple Valley Road and Symeron Road.
Emergency responders from the Apple Valley Police Department, the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, and AMR found a Ford pickup truck and two motorcycles with major crash damage.
4 Seriously Injured in Apple Valley Rd Accident in Apple Valley
A male rider from one motorcycle, another male rider and a female pillion passenger from the second bike, and one occupant of the pickup truck were critically injured.
The firefighters requested four air ambulances to transport the patients to various trauma centers.
It remained unclear if the pickup truck had other occupants.
An initial investigation revealed that the pickup truck was attempting to turn onto Apple Valley Road from Symeron Road when the crash happened.
Authorities closed Apple Valley Road in both directions between Mondamon Road and Chamber Lane as they investigated.
