The accident was reported at around 3:20 a.m. on San Timoteo Canyon Road near Entranz Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Officials say both drivers had to be extricated from the vehicles before being hospitalized with moderate injuries.
A third person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
