Fatal Highway 395 Car Crash at Wran Road in Lassen County
1 Killed in Head-On Collision on Highway 395 at Wran Road in Lassen County
Lassen County, California (May 15, 2022) – One person died in a Highway 395 car crash that happened Sunday morning in Lassen County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The head-on collision took place at about 11:10 a.m. at Wran Road near Milford.
A white Toyota Highlander and a white Toyota Camry were involved in the crash.
According to CHP, one of the vehicles was traveling at a high rate of speed and going all over the roadway; crossing into oncoming traffic and going off the roadway.
The car then collided head-on into the other vehicle.
One person was pinned inside one of the vehicles with serious life-threatening injuries.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, the report said.
No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
