1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 50 near Ice House Road in El Dorado County

El Dorado County, California (March 3, 2023) – Authorities are investigating an El Dorado County crash that killed one person on Thursday afternoon.

The deadly accident happened at about 3:20 p.m. on Highway 50 near Ice House Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided head-on on the highway in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, one person sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
