1 Killed, 2 Injured in Motorcycle Accident near Highway 198 and Ben Maddox Way in Visalia
Visalia, California (November 3, 2022) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that left two other people injured in Visalia on Wednesday evening.
The fatal crash happened near Highway 198 and Ben Maddox Way at around 4:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
A man and a woman were on a motorcycle when they rear-ended a Toyota in unclear circumstances.
The impact of the collision ejected the two riders from the motorcycle.
The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene. His name was not immediately disclosed.
The woman suffered major injuries and was taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Toyota was also transported to Kaweah Health for treatment in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
