1 Killed in Collision on 210 Freeway near Roxford Street in Sylmar
Los Angeles, California (October 22, 2022) – One person died in a crash involving a Caltrans construction equipment in Sylmar early Saturday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened on westbound Foothill (210) Freeway near Roxford Street at around 12:47 a.m.
A vehicle was traveling on the freeway when it crashed into a Caltrans forklift.
Two men in their 30s were trapped underneath the vehicle and one person had to be extricated by the firefighters.
One person was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the crash were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
