Oakland, California (November 26, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that left at least one person injured in Oakland on Thursday morning.

The accident happened at about 5:01 a.m. on Interstate 80 Freeway near San Pablo Avenue.

The authorities who responded to the incident found three vehicles at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.

As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

An investigation to establish the cause of the accident is underway.
