Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash in Woodland
Rider Suffers Serious Injuries in Woodland Motorcycle Accident at County Road 27 and County Road 98
Woodland, California (February 20, 2023) – A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after sustaining major injuries in a traffic collision Sunday evening in Woodland, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened at about 6:07 p.m. near County Road 27 and County Road 98.
CHP said a motorcycle and a car, both of unknown make and model, collided for unknown reasons.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the southbound lanes of CR-27.
The firefighters also requested an air ambulance to land in the intersection and airlift the seriously injured rider to the hospital.
No other details were given, but police are investigating.
