Steven Barnes Killed in Fremont Collision on Paseo Padre Parkway 

Fremont, California (May 6, 2023) – Steven Barnes, 69, of Fremont, was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Fremont, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident took place at about 1:16 p.m. May 1, in the area of Paseo Padre Parkway at Mowry Avenue.

According to the report, three vehicles were involved in the collision.

Barnes, who was driving one of the vehicles, was found unresponsive at the scene.

He was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The other drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The collision is under investigation.
