Fontana, CA. – Several people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Fontana, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup was reported around 12:13 p.m. on westbound Interstate 10 near Etiwanda Avenue.
According to the CHP report, three vehicles were involved in the accident.
A witness told authorities that a silver pickup truck swerved across all traffic lanes, hit the guardrails, and caused the collision with two other cars.
At least two people suffered minor injuries in the accident. The victims were taken to Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center for treatment.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
