At Least 1 Injured in Bakersfield Collision at N Chester Avenue and China Grade Loop

Bakersfield, California (May 8, 2023) – Police in Bakersfield are investigating a serious injury accident that happened Sunday evening at North Chester Avenue and China Grade Loop.

The wreck was reported at around 7:53 p.m.

Two vehicles of unknown make and model were involved in the collision.

The crash resulted in major injuries to at least one person.

One of the cars had three occupants. The report said that vehicle possibly had alcohol in it.

Police did not, however, confirm whether alcohol was a contributing factor.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
