Police Officer Hurt in Seal Beach Accident on Seal Beach Boulevard 

Seal Beach, California (May 13, 2023) – A Seal Beach police officer was injured in a crash while responding to an emergency call on Friday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The incident happened at around 12:16 p.m. May 12, on Seal Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway.

The police officer had the sirens and lights on when the patrol vehicle was struck at the intersection by a civilian vehicle.

The officer was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The involved vehicles were towed from the scene.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
