Ryan Brecko Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 203 at Interstate 84 in Baker County

Baker County, Oregon (March 14, 2023) – A 27-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon in Baker County.

Oregon State Police say the fatal collision happened on Highway 203 at the Interstate 84 overpass at around 1 p.m. on March 12.

Ryan James Brecko, of Baker City, was riding a 2020 Harley Davidson eastbound on the Hwy 203 overpass (crossing I-84) when he was struck by a 2007 Ford F-350 pickup truck driven by 77-year-old Robert Lee Drinkard, of Moro.

The rider suffered critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

The pickup truck driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
