Dixon, California (May 12, 2022) – Roberto Saldana, 60, was injured in a fatal car accident in Dixon on Tuesday morning, according to a local news source.

The incident happened on Interstate 80, east of Pedrick Road, at around 6:50 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10.

According to the report, a Ford F-450 traveling west on Interstate 80 was struck from the back by a Ford F-650. 

The impact caused both vehicles to strike a metal guardrail.

A Volvo tractor-trailer was sideswiped by the Ford F-650.

Roberto Saldana Injured in Deadly Dixon Collision on Interstate 80

Saldana was among the two occupants of the Ford F-450 and was treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the F-650 was killed in the collision.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
