Pregnant Woman Hurt in Bakersfield Accident at 24th and Q streets

Bakersfield, California (April 14, 2023) – A pregnant woman was injured in a crash at an intersection in Bakersfield Thursday evening, according to the police.

The wreck happened at 24th and Q streets just before 5:30 p.m. April 13.

A sedan and a pickup truck were involved in the incident.

Firefighters responded to the scene and used extrication tools to help a pregnant woman out of one of the vehicles.

The woman was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Police are investigating to determine the cause of the incident.
