At Least 1 Killed in Oro Grande Train Crash near National Trails Highway and Robinson Ranch Road

Oro Grande, California (April 15, 2023) – At least one person died in a train versus car accident that happened Friday morning in Oro Grande, as per a local news source.

The accident was reported at around 8:41 a.m. near National Trails Highway and Robinson Ranch Road.

Police said a black or gray Volkswagen bug was on the tracks for unknown reasons when it was struck by a BNSF train.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene.

According to the firefighters, at least one person died in the accident.

Two train services through the area were temporarily halted following the crash.
