Injuries Reported in Mission Valley Crash on Interstate 805 

Mission Valley, California (April 20, 2023) – A chase ended in an injury crash involving multiple vehicles in Mission Valley on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident began at around 2:45 p.m. April 19, when a driver involved in a crash on Interstate 5 near Manchester Avenue fled as a CHP officer was assisting other motorists.

The officer started pursuing the suspect, who traveled southbound on I-5 and moved onto I-805.

The suspect was then involved in another crash with multiple vehicles and a motorcycle on southbound I-805 near the Interstate 8 off-ramp.

There were reports of minor injuries. The number of the patients was not specified.

The suspect, later identified as a black female adult aged about 35, was taken into custody after the incident.

The authorities are investigating the incident.
