Pasco, WA.- A man was killed in a head-on collision near Pasco on Tuesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 395 at Vineyard Drive at around 6:30 a.m. on November 25.
According to WSP, a white Hyundai Elantra was traveling eastbound on Vineyard Drive when the driver failed to yield and was struck by an SUV heading north on Highway 395.
The driver of the Elantra, Perrie N. Robitaille, 77, of Kahlotus, was declared deceased at the scene despite life-saving measures performed by the first responders.
The other driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Speed is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The WSP is investigating the crash.
