1 Killed in Gardena Crash on Cerise and Rosecrans Avenues

Gardena, California (April 28, 2023) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Gardena on Thursday evening, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The wreck took place at around 8:45 p.m. April 27, in the area of Cerise and Rosecrans avenues.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to a pedestrian, who had major injuries.

Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian died at the scene.

Streets were closed in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
