1 Injured in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on Ajo Way near Park Avenue

Tucson, Arizona (April 15, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car on Friday morning in Tucson.
Tucson Police say the accident happened on Ajo Way, between S. Park Ave and S. Evans Blvd, at around 10 a.m.
A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Traffic on parts of E. Ajo Way was restricted as authorities cleared the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
