Person Killed in Sunnyvale Crash on Fair Oaks Avenue

Sunnyvale, California (April 24, 2023) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle in Sunnyvale on Saturday night, according to authorities.

The deadly crash happened on Fair Oaks Avenue at East Taylor Avenue at around 8:20 p.m. April 22.

Authorities said a man was eastbound trying to walk across Fair Oaks Avenue when he was hit by a northbound vehicle.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be a factor in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
