Woman Hospitalized after Palm Desert Crash on Interstate 10 at Monterey Avenue
Palm Desert, California (April 8, 2021) – A woman was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Palm Desert, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 at the Monterey Avenue on-ramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, an SUV reportedly struck a road sign post and then flipped on its roof.

Two people were trapped in the overturned vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency responders.
The woman was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The other occupant in the vehicle, her adult son, was not injured.
The eastbound Interstate 10 on-ramp was closed while the investigation took place.
