Colusa County, CA. – One person died, and another was airlifted after a single-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in Arbuckle, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 5:51 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just north of the Hahn Road off-ramp.
A vehicle reportedly went across traffic lanes and ended up down an embankment for an unknown reason.
One person was ejected during the collision, and possibly two others were trapped inside the vehicle.
Emergency personnel responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene.
Another person was airlifted to the hospital in an unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
