According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 8:04 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Seamas Avenue.
A gray Honda Accord and a gray Chevrolet Silverado were involved in the crash.
One person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The patient was taken to the hospital for treatment.
CHP officers are investigating the incident.
