Camp Pendleton, CA. – One person was injured in a that happened Sunday afternoon in Camp Pendleton, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident occurred around 3:19 p.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near the San Onofre Nuclear Plant.

A white Acura TL, a black Scion iA, and a gray Honda were involved in the crash.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene after the collision.

One person suffered minor injuries in the crash. The person was offered medical aid by the paramedics.

CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
