One Hurt in Santa Maria Crash on Highway 101 and Alisos Canyon Road 

Santa Maria, California (December 20, 2022) – One person was injured in a traffic crash between two vehicles on Tuesday evening in Santa Maria, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck happened at about 8 p.m. on Highway 101 south of Alisos Canyon Road.

CHP said the vehicles crashed in the southbound lanes. It’s unclear what caused the accident.

One person was transported to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The CHP is handling the investigation.
