Officer Airlifted after Crash at Jackson Street and Odlum Drive in Indio

Indio, California (April 16, 2023) – A police officer was injured in a car crash that happened on Saturday afternoon in Indio.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jackson Street and Odlum Drive.

The officer was riding a motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle.

The officer was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
