Neang Thach Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 161 in South Hill
South Hill, Washington (May 12, 2023) – 39-year-old Neang Thach has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision in South Hill on Monday night.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on State Route 161 near 144th Street at around 8:09 p.m.
The Kent resident was riding a motorcycle northbound on the highway and collided with a pickup truck.
Thach was killed in the accident, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
