Pico Rivera, California (May 15, 2022) – Nathan Lizarraga, 14, of Whittier, was one of the two people killed in a Saturday morning traffic accident in Pico Rivera, according to the coroner’s office.

The collision happened at around 1:15 a.m. on May 14, on Whittier Boulevard, west of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident, whose cause was not immediately released.

Nathan Lizarraga Killed in Pico Rivera Auto Accident 

Lizarraga was riding in one of the vehicles and was killed in the crash.

A woman in the other vehicle, Angelica Lopez, 62, of Whittier, also died in the accident.

Two other people were injured in the collision and were taken to a trauma center.

No further details on the collision were released.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
