1 Hospitalized After San Mateo Crash on Highway 101 at Highway 92

San Mateo, California (May 4, 2023) – A Tuesday morning traffic collision on Highway 101 in San Mateo left one person hospitalized, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident occurred at around 8:22 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway at Highway 92.

CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found a white Ford Fusion, a Chevrolet pickup truck, and a sedan involved in the collision.

One person sustained minor injuries in the accident. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The Ford was towed away with major front- and rear-end damage.

CHP is investigating the collision.
