1 Killed in Paramount Car Crash on Downey Avenue near Harrison Street
Paramount, California (February 23, 2021) – A motorist died after crashing into a home in Paramount on Tuesday morning.
The deadly collision happened at about 1:10 a.m. in the 16600 block of Downey Avenue, near Harrison Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Crews with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the incident and rescued a driver who was trapped inside the wreckage.
The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said there were people at home, but no injuries were reported.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
