Peoria, AZ – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured after crashing on Charleston Avenue in the West Valley early Saturday morning.
The major crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. near 91st Avenue and Union Hills Drive
Peoria police and firefighters responded to the scene and located the rider involved in a single-vehicle crash.
The motorcyclist suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Detectives are investigating the incident to determine if speed or intoxication were a factor in the crash.
Charleston Avenue was impacted for several hours but has since reopened.
