Rider Killed in Lamont Motorcycle Accident on Highway 223 and Edison Road

Lamont, California (December 5, 2022) – One person was killed in a traffic collision that occurred in Lamont on Sunday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened on Highway 223 and Edison Road just after 12:15 p.m. December 4.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Terence Patt, 43, was driving west on Highway 223 when he made a made a left turn onto south Edison Road.

A motorcyclist traveling the same way tried to pass vehicles on the left lane and collided with a Peterbilt semi-truck.

The motorcyclist was killed in the incident.

No other injuries were reported.

The CHP is investigating the collision.
